What is WorkSpree?

WorkSpree is the project and workforce management app inside SpreeSuite. It sits alongside other business apps like BillSpree, RollSpree, and BookSpree. WorkSpree is the central hub where you:
  • Define and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Assign people (resources) to various roles within projects.
  • Track time and effort on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Monitor budget vs. actual effort and generate invoices directly from project work.
In short: WorkSpree = Projects + People + Time + Budget + Billing, all integrated into one powerful application.

Main Areas in WorkSpree

WorkSpree is organized into several key areas, accessible from the sidebar:

1. Projects

The Project Register, where you can create, list, and edit project details, including team members, milestones, and billing settings.

2. Resource Dashboard

A capacity and allocation view that answers: “Who is doing what, and when?” It allows you to visualize resource utilization across time periods.

3. Project Dashboard

A workload and timeline view that answers: “Which project has work when?” This is essential for planning deadlines and identifying peak effort periods.

4. Budget Report

A financial and effort tracking table that answers: “Are we on budget? How much is billable? What is the project completion status?”

How It All Fits Together

  1. Define: Create a project and set basic info (Customer, Status, Category).
  2. Structure: Set up the contract with non-billable/billable resources and delivery milestones.
  3. Team: Assign supervisors and refine resource allocations.
  4. Visualize: Use the Resource and Project Dashboards to plan and monitor workload.
  5. Track: Monitor budget, effort, and completion through the Budget Report.
  6. Bill: Generate invoice drafts directly from milestones to be managed in BillSpree.
